he inspection and testing of the container itself has officially been completed and we received the results. It was found that PODS will be unable to consider claim# 1569924 as covered loss. See below for the details:

A high pressure water test confirmed negative for water intrusion for Container #1006B29.

This included allowing continuous water to run over the roof and entire exterior of the container to detect leaking, there was none.

Container was also placed outside the warehouse during the entire weekend and the territory manager checked the container inside and out, and again still showed no evidence of leakage.

The container was rented onsite from the period 4/27/2018 to 5/3/2018 and from 5/7/2018 to 5/23/2018, this would lead PODS to conclude your reported water damage may have entered due to rising water which is not considered a covered loss by PODS.

Please consider the terms of your rental agreement you entered into with PODS. The terms of our arrangement provides generally that you assume all risk of loss or damage to your contents however caused. Also, our arrangement requires you to protect against the risk of loss of your contents by insuring your contents.
