MY POD ACTUALLY BROKE AND NO ONE WILL HELP ME.

I moved from San Francisco to Asheville North Carolina with a Large Pods Container. When my container arrived in Asheville the floor was broken in several places.

I was made aware of this by the market manager in Asheville. I should also state that I had no large appliances, NO refrigerator, No washer/dryer, No piano. So I was told I had to transfer my property into a new Pod and hire helpers at my own expense. I was told I would hear from the LEGAL DEPARTMENT at Pods in a few days, I was given several CASE NUMBERS for my account.

It has been 3 WEEKS and no one has reached out to be except the billing department. Pods has now TRIPLED MY MONTHLY STORAGE AMOUNT. I have been on the phone everyday, because I am getting threatening emails from Pods billing department.

This situation is a NIGHTMARE. PODS CUSTOMER SERVICE IS A COMPLETE JOKEOne more thing my property was DAMAGED DUE TO THE POD BREAKING, and no one has addressed this either.

Pods loyal member and dispute

Hi Ms. Marinello,

I am a cancer Scientist who is a loyal client for PODs for last several years.

I came from India and loved the Pods concept for my small one apartment moving most recently from California to Texas.

I was very happy as all my stuff moved even my plants (some are Indian plants) to my new home safely.

I am very disappointed and frustrated that I have to write to you regarding a dispute.

I selected the bigger PODs size to fit all my stuff including my plants after discussing with the customer personal.

I was charged and paid the amount in last October, 2021. I paid the amount through my credit card immediately.

I was surprised to see 2 other balances for 2 pods on my credit card. I immediately informed Pods customer service and they said it was by mistake. I got my money back from Pods for those incorrect charges.

I only got one pods and thats the only pods got transferred from my home address - Folsom to Houston Texas.

I have no idea how I was charged twice for smaller pods as I only selected one pods.

Only one pods was dropped at my residence in California and only one pods came to Houston Texas residence.

I paid my bills for that of-course which was nearly 6k.

Now, I am receiving mails that I will be harassed by the debt collectors for around 3k.

This is a very bad situation and harassment. I reached out to the customer service several times and explained to them and its never resolved.

How I will ever trust Pods again and select again for my another move in the future?

Now, I am calling everyday to the customer service to remind them that I already told them about this dispute.

I got my money back through Pods so now why I am charged this huge amount. I did not take any other services than just one pods.

Please advise so that no one should go through this ever again.

Incident number 226****. I've waited long enough.

I'm tired of being LIED TOO. The my container was dropped on 3/4/22 and have not still been able to settle the damage that was done during transportation. Which includes the damaged houseware items and my lawn.

This company was recommended by the US Military, which my deceased husband gladly served and this company just walks all over his grave. PODS didn't honor their commitment.

The 3rd insurance the company paid for furniture damage, but the lawn damage MEMORY JOHNSON acknowledged that was done by PLODS has yet to be paid after4 month is of being lied to, and report to BBB. DON'T USE , DON'T fees aren't disclosed until later on in contract.

Incident Report refunds never received

Company still has no response. Not even supervisor response. This company continually ghost you when you have a problem. They take thousands from you and do things on their time. They advertise get it delivered when you want and don't follow through weeks later. Now it's going on 2 months and still nothing resolved.

Billing error

Very beyond frustrated. I have been a customer since dec 2020.

I pay for one POD 189.00/ month until may 2022- when price was increased to 214.60( which is totally fine but that is not the issue).

I have my payment auto drafter from my bank acct monthly of 189.00 however, i have been getting charged on my card ( not on my bill) 214.60 every month in addition to my regular amount. This totals up to more than $1000. I have been trying to get this issue resolved since March 2022. I have tons of long phone calls emails, incident reports etc, and nothing has been done except one charge in April 2022 for 214.60.

Susan at settlements had told me she would make sure everything was corrected and she could see after i sent my bank statements how the billing was being drafted twice each month. Then Mike, another rep told me he saw my card was attached to another POD acct( like paying for someone elses acct and mine) I only have one POD. I will also say the extra charges i have incurred because of these unauthorized charges out of my acct by pods is insane, the enormous amount of time i have spent on the phone, hours, weeks months.. this needs to be considered when refunding me and compensating me for this huge mistake or error by your company.

I will seek legal action of this is not remedied asap. I have been patient, i have been nice, but i am going to lose my ever loving mind.

I want a corporate number or the legal department whoever is the main financial accts receivable- something to call me asap and get this remedied. Thank you.

Waiting for my Pod to be delivered after waiting over 2 weeks, only to find out it hasn’t left Florida yet.

Signed contract with Pods, paid a lot of money, pod was rcvd, we filled it and they immediately came to pick it up. Said goodbye, assuming it will be in NJ in a few days. Only to find out 2 weeks later that they never shipped the Pod from Florida. Now it will take another 2 weeks and I will be charged $$$$$ for keeping Pod extra days. This is a scam business, my dialysis supplies are inside and I wont get new supplies for 2 weeks. I dont care how desperate you are, avoid this company at any cost.

Poor customer service

On 16 March, my husband and I called PODS to get an estimate for our move from VA to SC. We spoke to Phil.

We had no firm date for a closing but knew that it would most likely be in the June/July timeframe. Your company was the first we contacted. We were not ready to make a commitment on carriers at that time since we had no other estimates for a comparison. Phil told us that the price he quoted would be good until 23 March.

That was it.

Today, 16 May, we found a PODS container sitting in the middle of our driveway when we returned home. We immediately called PODS to tell them that we did not place an order for delivery. We ended up speaking to four different people who all gave us the same story and apologies. It seems the best that anyone can do is to remove the POD on 19 May.

In the meantime, I cannot get my car out of my garage, and my husband cannot park his car in our driveway. So, what are we supposed to do? Should I rent a car and send you the bill? If I Uber, will you pick up the tab?

Someone in PODS submitted an estimate as a confirmed purchase. My guess is that it may have been Phil, but I dont know that for certain. I want to see a signed confirmation order and have a recording of the conversation in March. We did give a credit card number and have an order number in case we decided to go ahead with the order.

From my experience today, I will not choose PODS to transport my household goods even though we had planned to do so. I think a company that is concerned about customer satisfaction would offer more than apologies for its mistakes

We had our Pod moved from IL to NM, they would not deliver to Taos so we asked to deliver to Corrales. The delivery person put the pod the wrong way on car port and created a huge hole in the asphalt. I had an Incident report created and now no one will get back to me. They say 24-48-72 hours and still not a response. I emailed a couple people a quote for repair and pictures and still no response. This is crazy and we want the damage fixed.

Poor customer service

bMy husband dies and PODS would not deliver his order to our home locally. Then they would and have not picked up the empty container.

They gave me a date of July 2, but when it was not picked up I called back and the rep I spoke to then claimed I never asked for the POD to be picked up. It has been sitting empty in my driveway since the 25 th of June. The customer service agent hung up on me, but before he hung up, he did tell me they would continue to charge me until they pick up the container.

I then did a chat on July 2, with another PODS rep who could not give me a date, but said I would be given a window of 30 minutes to move my car out of the driveway. I have tried to be patient, but this is so very unnecessary,

Poor Customer Service

I called two months ago to return my POD's container and was scheduled for a specific date. I called on the date of pick up to get a status only to learn that the pick up was not scheduled in a "recorded conversation" and I was billed for another month on the date the container was to be returned.

After being on hold for over 20 minutes I finally spoke to another customer service person who assured me that they would pick up the container the next day..when no one is home. and that the monthly charge that they took from my bank account would be refunded. It's almost criminal.

And I'm ashamed to say I gave POD's great reviews. My container leaked.and after sitting in my driveway for two years clothing items even leather jackets were destroyed because of water that leaked on boxes and hanging clothing in the back of the container.

So I spoke to a customer service representative two months ago who explained that the charges would be credited. and the container would be picked up. Total Absolute *** I am truly sorry I chose PODS and I would not recommend it to anyone.. I have over $800.00 in damaged clothing including uniforms that I can't just dispose of.

File a claim!!! Why. they can see the wet wood in the container the clothing has been thrown away.
