Disappointed
This company is nothing but a big scam artist. When i reserved my pod last year it was never explained to me that to move it from a facility in the same state would cost me having to renew my agreement, with that said I had to pay an additional 416- dollars already on top of what I was paying for monthly storage, then another 185- for them to deliver it to my permanent residence.
To add insult to injury they wanted to charge me additional fees in the amount of 425.00 all in a matter of 1 week while my pod was still in transit. after I complained to customer service which is in a 3rd world country and cant do *** to help. There is no one that i can speak with that has any type of authority to assist me with this. They froze my account and are holding my personal belongings' hostage.
PODS is CRIMINAL.
THEY ARE THIEVES, DO NOT USE THEIR SERVICES UNLESS YOU WANT TO GET ROBBED!!!
I will continue to rate them poorly on every social media outlet until they release my belongings. Facebook Instagram Twitter TikTok etc

Called today again along with emails still no one is willing to call or email me. Unbelievable poor company customer service.
I ask to escalate my case, was told no way to escalate or call anyone else there is only one number and the main number. Person I talked to did...
I have been told my complaint is under review, I am now on 4th person appointed to this dispute, still not once anyone ever has ever called me, replied to my emails or in any way tried to resolve my complaints.
I rented 2 pods and purchased the insurance. The pod leaked and damaged my storage items. Was told I would have to keep damaged items until insurance review. That happened fairly.
I was also told my pod rental charges during investigation would not be charged. That was a lie, I was charged rental and was told there is no coverage for rental charges.
I have been trying to resolve this issue with Pods to refund my rental charges for over 6 months I have called and consistently called and emailed not once has Pods replied after being told it was under review. I did get a nasty reply threatening phone call, to say my dispute would got to collections after I filed dispute with our credit card that was used to pay Pod's my credit card company only would credit one month since I waited too long to report the dispute about the unauthorized charges Pods charged. Bottom line Pod's is very bad company and are outright liars.
Welcome to the Pod Family is their slogan.

My pod was supposed to be shipped out on the end of February and delivered March 6,2023. The money came off of my card on the 22nd when I initiated the shipment.
I was told that my pod should arrive on March 6. I called to see what time my pod should be arriving and I was told its still in California. I was extremely frustrated because I need my stuff!!! They then apologized and told me it should arrive March 20,2023.
Ive never planned to have my stuff in storage this long and Ive never planned to pick up my stuff from storage. Furthermore my stuff then got delivered on the 23 due to truck breaking down.
I was givin the estimated time of 10-12pm but my pod arrived at 4:30. No manager has called me back yet.

We bought our 179 R-Pod on January 4,2017 from Bay RV Center, LLC, 1002 A Pulaski Highway, Joppa, Md 21085. We have had so many issues since we bought this R-Pod.
We have the highest warranty (the Platinum Coverage) for repairs from Protective Property & Casualty Company my contract number is RV15622****
Our first issue was the ceiling rippling. My husband offered to deliver it to your factory in Indiana on Monday October 28,2019 and was told it would be done by December. We waited and called in January, and it was not even started yet. We were told that the girl that took our camper went out on maternity leave and had given it to someone else to follow up on, and of course that did not happen.
Parts were stripped off our unit, and things where so scratched up, especially my refrigerator.
The microwave looked like someone had taken a hammer to the inside!
You should already have those pictures in my file. You did send me a new microwave that we installed ourselves, as we did not want to return it to forest river facility in Goshen, Indiana.
I have attached the e-mails about how our air conditioner was leaking from the gasket not being installed correctly from the factory. So, you agreed to pull back the laminated roof section and fix the fiberglass ceiling. My immaculate camper then got dropped off in Gosha, Indiana and came back a complete and total mess.
There are still black fingerprints on the ceiling that I cannot remove. There are also scratches everywhere that we did not do.
White caulk was used on the outside messily and is still dripping down my camper. It was originally black. I have attached many pictures.
I actually have so many pictures that this e-mail will not let me send anymore. If you need more, just e-mail me. I wish you could see them all.
They finally returned our R-Pod February 3, 2019 and told us they even installed new levelers on it for us. The unit came back with the original used levelers.
Now our entrance door has been cracking on the inside, in multiple locations.
We have waited over a year and Bay RV is telling us they cannot get a blue door.
Sandy at Bay RV is saying she can only get us a white one. That is totally unacceptable. If that is truly the case, I believe we deserve a whole new camper, or our money back, which is $19,444.40.
We were fond of Forest River before this ridiculous fiasco, but we certainly have not received acceptable service this time.
We desperately need someone in management to step up and help us very soon, or we will be forced to put this situation in the hands of our attorney. This would be burdensome to all parties, including ourselves.

I called the warranty company today (Protective Property & Casualty Insurance Company) at 800-224-****, and was told I did have the highest warranty available, and it will not cover the entrance door???
I am assuming they meant the cabinet doors, but Dee said the policy states all doors. This cannot be correct. It is my outside main entrance door.
Then I got lung cancer and am I am just starting to be able to deal with this situation again.
PLEASE someone help us. We are retired and love camping.
We bought our first camper 48 years ago to take our honeymoon in.
Someone has to make this right so please take some time out of your schedule to investigate our claims.
I have enclosed pictures so you can see what a nice set up we have. A white door would look terrible.

I was locked out of my PODS account after a PODS dispute. I gave the company ample time to make it right and now they are harassing me endlessly and locked me out of the account so I cannot retrieve any relative paperwork.
Alike when they held my container hostage and would not deliver it to me after a failed attempt. They clearly had the gate code on the paperwork (submitted in my CC dispute that I won) but then blamed me and would not work with me whatsoever. I spent hours and hour on the phone, representative to representative trying to come up with a resolution.
Stay away from this company at all costs!
There are plenty of similar styled companies out there that will likely deliver a better service. Do your research on BBB first then pick a good one.

First of all, the initial POD was delivered and picked up as scheduled. The second pod we requested that they possibly drop The second pod early.
I contacted local office at 9:30 to see if other pod was on its way, Rebecca assured me it would arrive before 10:30. As you can see, scheduled for 8:15-11 am. At 11, they emailed me an update that it was delayed until 1-4. Attempted to contact Rebecca at local office , vm was full and they closed at noon.
So contacted 800 number at least 8-10 times to see when they were delivering, absolutely no help, stupid! Finally, at 3:36 was contacted by driver, Paul, hed was on his way, I questioned him as to how long he said at least an hour! He arrived at 4:48! This whole process was extremely stressful any way and we had to pay help an additional $840 for them to sit around!
I want a reimbursement for the $840!
We had to sit in an outdoor storage facility waiting for an additional 5 hours! This is insane!

Very unhappy with your service outside country, I call your customer billing to process payment, I gave them the payment, that was completed. However, the lady Philippine doesn't know what she was doing, she locked my account, my payment on hold, I have to wait 10 days .
Before I Can schedule a move date until the final payment posted , like really what nonsense is this , I need to move ,
Cant speak to a manager because no one was available, I would never recommend pods service again, shouldn't be this complicated, The payment was done. Why do I have to wait until it's posted to schedule a move date , very frustrating and unfair to customer.
I'm very disappointed, I initially thought this was a reputable company unfortunately it's not that way . Don't waste time & money

On March 2021 I was in the process of selling my home I felt it was better to use PODS for storage and it was cost effective. I paid to have the containers moved to the 23435 zip code which is Suffolk Virginia.
Well that was my understanding when I went through this process that they would be in a area where I could go get things out if needed. Well that was not the case those containers sat in Manassas Virginia until I called on July 13 2022 to schedule the delivery date. The two containers were broken in and they took what they wanted. I had containers that I put zip ties on each so no one could go in them.
Well not only did they cut them off of all the tub they left some of the zip ties on the floor if the PODS. They took a Christmas tree brand new out of the box and left an empty box I guess that was supposed to be funny. I had four six feet Santas they took three and left one and one empty red bag. Well this is just the beginning because there is much more to this and the run around that I have gotten from POD customers service.
I done everything I could do even trying to file a police report with Suffolk police department. I spoke with officer Borum bage number 724 phone 757-514-**** and he said he could not file a report because it didn't originate in Suffolk VA and it had to be originated in Manassas Virginia because that's where the containers were moved from. I explained all if this too your customer service, but the only thing I have gotten was a file number 234**** and someone would get in touch with me and that has not happened.
I have pictures I have done a inventory of most of the tubs and I am truly at a lost when someone say they don't have keys to get into those containers. I have pictures where they re-wrapped some of my pictures and then put a not for sale by U-Hauls on it.

I am dealing with the exact same thing. I have been billed over $800 in error and I can not get ANYONE to help.
I have called everyday for over a week. They just say they will call back and never do. Did you ever get any help?
Is there an email address where I can make a complaint. The phone number is a waste of time
