PODS - Bad experience
I was told we could add insurance at a later date, that was an epic lie! They wouldn't refund us, so we had to empty the pods tonight in order to get a new insured pods. The pods we received were dangerous, unmaintened, and they refused to refund us, tonight I fell and severely injured myself because of a defect in the wood. Here we go to the E.R and the whole thing was captured on my Ring camera!!! Shame on you pods!!!

PODS gave a small refund against the charges. I still wouldn't use them again.

A supervisor/manager from PODS contacted me and resolved the issue. The container was picked up, a sincere apply was given and a partial refund for all of the trouble.

This has been by far the worst experience that we have ever had with a moving company. My daughter's Pod was traveling from Texas to Michigan and was supposed to be delivered in Michigan on Nov.

8th. and picked up/removed on Nov. 9th. Then the Pod was delayed twice.

It hadn't yet left Texas. Then we were notified that it would be in Michigan on Nov. 9th and picked up on Nov. 13th.

Sitting in our driveway for 5 days! Not only it's against our subdivision by-laws, we are in the middle of a snow storm. We will probably be fined by our subdivision for violation of our by-laws. We have a Pod sitting in the middle of our driveway.

No way to park our cars in our garage. No way to plow our driveway. Called Pods 3 times staring on Nov. 7th requesting that they pick up their Pod on Monday Nov.11th.

I was told each time that it would be processed and that they would be calling to verify the new pick up day. Never once received any follow up! This company is terrible! Can't even speak to a supervisor!

Now they are telling me that there isn't anything that they can do to get this Pod out of my driveway. Stay away from this very poor customer service company.

All they do is lie to you! Their customer service reps will do nothing to help you!

Be wary of drivers and customer service

PODS had delivered to neighbor, when their truck drove by my house he tore my tv cable off the pole, there was a large snap sound, he knew he did it because he stopped, when he saw me trying to get his attention he drove off. PODS customer service said it was the cable companys fault and they should pay for the repair; they destroy someone elses property but are not responsible for fixing it!!!! Integrity and being responsible is a lost art.

They could not figure out where to place the POD, so they left and we had to reschedule a week later. This is despite the fact that I spent substantial time working with their representative to make sure they understood EXACTLY where the POD was to be placed. I even shared a satellite photo with a red circle showing the parking space the POD was to be placed. Unfortunately, they were not able to communicate these directions to their driver. Their excuse was this: "We do not share photographs with our drivers because they are not allowed to look at their phones while driving." Perhaps the driver could park in the parking lot and then look at the phone. Anyway, they screwed this up when they dropped the POD off to be loaded. Then, they screwed it up again when they dropped the POD off to be unloaded at my father's new home. Never use this company. There is a reason they have a one star rating. If you read their few good reviews carefully, you can tell that they are fake.

My bill went behind I paid them and they charge me a fee because they set up a auction then they canceled the auction.i went behind again they scheduled a unction again and charged me another fee so I call and say week the last time I made a partial payment you canceled the auction...these two rude and GETTO account mangers Lavonia....and Gina ..... from the corporate in Florida would not let me get a word in refused to look at the statements or send me to where someone could help me they had charger me twice...she said they only did it once ...no they did it twice ...and both refused to transfer me to a supervisor or some on above them which tells me they dont give a dam about any complaints you may have about their service I am going to pay my bill and put my *** in Public Storage for these shylocks steal my ***

I was in the process of moving,I called pods, to drop off a pod, about two weeks ago. I moved on December 30th.we sold our home. It's going on the fifth time that they have been out at the old residents trying to pickup the pod with no success.how can you run a business with no plan B and still wanting to charge customers, for a nightmare that your company started and cannot seem to find this horrible nightmare that a percentage of your customers are facing everyday.you tell me?Sad

This is the worst company ever! Make sure if you are stupid enough to use this company you need to make sure that they service the area you are going to! They didn’t tell me they didn’t service certain places so now I have to rent a uhaul to go to their facility to unload my stuff and move it in the first place after I have 1400$ already invested with this company! There is no customer appreciation and I’m basically out of all that money when I could have just stored it in uhaul for way cheaper!

I have asked to speak with managers and supervisors when calling in and have been told that I can not speak to them unless I get help from the person answering calls first! I have been told that it’s my clients fault for not scheduling correct move dates and that “everyone is moving, so there is nothing we can do to help you, sir”. This came from James S and Destiny Leslie! Totally unacceptable customer service skills! My client was told that someone would reach out to him within 3 days from him getting in touch with PODS customer service and it’s now been 5 days and no one has spoke with him! I will make sure never to refer anymore of my clients to a company who is this belligerent!

Use Caution

I had POD delivered on 9 and 11 Dec 20had. 12 Footer and 16 Footer I contacted POD several times prior my billing date. I was uninformed about the 3 day grace period and was eligible for full refund on PODD until my agent told me. I was told that I couldn't get POD delivered and back on the 10th or 11th. I also spoke with a rep the morning of the 10th and she asked If I could have container emptied by 1 for pick up and she would call me back and never did.Then I contacted billing rep and spoke to 3 people, Last lady told me I spoke with TASHA as she was in another calling region and had to pass me on, to her. First container was scheduled for 16 Jan and was changed to 14 Jan so I could get a full refund on both. I single-handedly almost emptied both containers on the 12th. I had to leave heavy items on container number 1 for the 13th to make the 14th pickup date. I would have never changed pickup to the 14th to rush for a partial refund, It's unfair. I am military and will no refer anyone to PODS if they don't issue me my full refund. U can go back and listen to the conversation. My phone number is 678654**** as my account number. Contacted PODS customer service rep in July 2019 to reschedule my PODS pickup date. The CSR scheduled the date but didn’t bring to my attention that the pick up date was scheduled on my renewal date and that I would be charged another month of service for a container that was picked up on the date of my renewal.
Fast forward to the week of pick up When i realize that I’m being charge for a month of service which is basically free money for PODS.

Contacted CSR live chat and Jessica told me there was nothing she could do even though it’s 2 days prior to pickup. So I called the customer service number and was told “yes I would be pissed too but what you want me to do”. They didn’t have a care in the world. My issue is the last empty PODS container is being picked up on my renewal date, meaning I will not have the container in my possession.

I also feel automatic renewal should be canceled prior to last pick up of empty PODS container. I AM PISSED OFF and I want this issue resolved!!!

Over Charged for Monthly Rental

I was told on October 1st when I was placing my order that I was paying for the pick-up, storage and drop off of two PODs. I was told by multiple representatives starting on October 1st and ending on October 30, 2019 when I had to call and switch the dates of the drop off in Greensboro, NC that I would not be charged for the monthly rental rate in November because they would be picking up the PODs and taking them back on November 5, 2019 which is in the five-day grace period. However, when I looked at the credit card statement, PODs charged me $529 for the monthly storage for Nov. 2019. Two days after I was told on October 30, 2019 from a escalation representative that there would be no more charges on my account. I explain my situation and reasoning for picking up on the 5th and I was told specifically and without question no more charges were going to be applied to my account.

Their billing department is the worst I have ever delt with in 60 years. They will bill you up to 3 times a month and the just billed me a second time in a week. How do they stay in business I don't know. Their billing Dept does not care about any thing they do.

Horrible Service

I am moving from Seattle to Madison and used a pod so that I would have time to look for a place to live without being rushed. The experience has been terrible every step of the way.

The emails that are sent to confirm your order have no actual details. You have to go to their website that most times when logging in will give too many redirects and won’t bring you to your account. The call operators (because everything must be done by calling, you cannot do anything directly yourself online) tell you the information that you want to hear but then proceed to put the information into their system incorrectly.

I was supposed to have my pod waiting for me at a Madison storage facility while I tried to find a place to live as I moved from Seattle. Two months after my pod left Seattle I find a place and expect to schedule my delivery within 3 days.

When I go to the website it actually connects me to my account and I see that my pod was never sent like I had discussed with the call service agent and it was still in Washington.

After talking to another call agent my pod is scheduled to leave Washington in four days and won’t be delivered to my new place for two weeks. Meaning I will have to live two weeks without any of my personal belongings in an empty house.

They are crooks

POD continues to charge your CC. Even without authorization. This is a nightmare dealing with the. Then they add interest so you end up paying way more than you owe. Don't use them if possible.

Money hungry liars with horrible customer service

We Ordered Pods for a cross country move to keep costs low as opposed to using a full service mover. We loaded it on our own as we also were going to unload on our own. We moved to an HOA neighborhood where the Pod could not block the driveway over night. Pods suggested doing same day drop off and pick up, so we scheduled that. 3 weeks later, right before the unloading day they informed us this could not be done. They have lied about everything we experienced saying it is not their fault. We had to hire a second moving company to go to their facility to unload 2 pods into a moving truck and transport to our house. No one in their right mind would ever choose to do that. On top of the over 7k we paid them, we were down another 1400 for the second company. They offered us a small $200 good will gesture which doesn’t nearly cover the extra costs they forced us into. Pods is a nightmare to deal with and I wouldn’t suggest anyone use them to save money or stress, because you won’t.
